Raid abilities trigger at the end of the turn if three or more friendly creatures initiated battle.

Creatures need to be actively attacking to be counted. Defensive creatures that battle other creatures do not count towards the Raid trigger. Creatures that initiate battle but do not deal battle damage (by having zero or negative attack values) still count towards the Raid trigger.

The creature with the Raid trigger does not need to be present for combat but it does need to be alive at the end of the turn for the ability to trigger. If a Raid creature is being destroyed at the end of the turn (Blitzmane, the Destroyer summoned by Dragonwake, for example) the resolution of the Raid trigger depends on the order in which the rest of the triggers resolve. If the Dragonwake trigger resolves first, the Raid trigger will not resolve since Blitzmane will be gone. However, if a Raid creature is being destroyed by a damage based effect (Avalanche Invoker), the ability will always resolve. Even if the creature is taking lethal damage, death is not checked until after everything in the batch has resolved, which includes the Raid trigger. If a Hive Empress is killed by an Avalanche Invoker at the end of the turn, the player poison will still be applied, regardless of the order of resolution.

Raid only triggers on your turn and only once per turn regardless of how many times creatures attacked (with extra battle phases, for example). The same Raid ability can be triggered on successive turns if all the criteria are met.
